Our team

Eryn Broughton is a Clinical Psychologist who provides therapy to adults and comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments across the lifespan. Her aim is for clients to feel genuinely seen, supported, and actively involved in their therapeutic journey.

Her work is trauma-informed and grounded in a holistic understanding of mental health — recognising the impact of nervous system differences, life experiences, identity, and systemic stressors on wellbeing. As an AuDHD psychologist who has also navigated FND, Eryn understands what it is like to feel misunderstood, mislabelled, or dismissed. She brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work, creating a space that is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, identity-safe, collaborative and empowering.

Eryn has a particular interest in adult autism and ADHD assessment, especially where neurodivergence has been missed, masked, or misattributed earlier in life. This is especially common for women and gender-diverse people, and during periods of hormonal or life transition (such as perimenopause).

She also supports adults experiencing:

  • Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)

  • Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm

  • Body image and eating concerns (non-diet, weight-neutral approaches)

  • Identity, burnout, and major life transitions

  • Issues commonly faced by the LGBTIQA+ community

Eryn works collaboratively, focusing on strengths, meaning, and sustainable change. Therapy is always tailored to the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

Her integrative approach draws from:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Nocebo Hypothesis Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (NH-CBT)

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

  • Brief Intervention

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Schema Therapy

  • Narrative Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Mindfulness-based approaches

Outside of work, Eryn is a mother and business owner who enjoys DIY projects, exploring markets, going to the gym, snorkelling, and catching a good movie — ideally with a choc-top.
